Our Projects

Enabling Sustainability through Data Intelligence

We are a Singapore-based start-up (incorporated in 2014), spun off from the Energy Research Institute at Nanyang Technological University (ERI@N). Our focus is on enabling sustainability through data intelligence.

Our company supports sustainability initiatives primarily in the Southeast Asian (SEA) region, targeting markets such as renewable energy (a USD 300 billion market in SEA alone), Blue Economies (valued at least at USD 1.5 trillion), and marine big data (a USD 138 billion global market).

The core team brings extensive professional expertise and innovative experience in energy, artificial intelligence, big data, sustainability research, development, project demonstration, and industry-specific know-how. We also have deep experience in ecosystems spanning business, finance, policy, and education.

We offer technical services, data catalogs, and reporting products. With global involvement, we are currently managing projects in Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, and the broader SEA region, while exploring opportunities in other parts of Asia and beyond (e.g., Australia, Canada, and the UK).

What Our Clients Say

  • "I believe that these innovative approaches can enable sustainability, particularly if they are codeveloped with local communities to solve their energy needs. I strongly encourage that we not only observe the dawn of marine renewable energy but also actively participate in making it a reality."

    Carl Gustaf Lundin

Director, Global Marine and Polar Programme

International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN)

  • “The Department has been continually exploring different avenues to support the government’s drive towards the transition to clean and sustainable energy supply. NAMA’s assistance may just be the thrust that we need in order to galvanize the development of the Philippines’ Ocean energy sector which has long been impeded.”

Director Mylene Capongcol (Renewable Energy Management Bureau)

and Chief Andresito Ulgado (Hydro and Ocean Energy Management Division)

    Deparment of Energy (Philippines)

  • "Our demonstration project in Bintuni Bay proves that tidal stream renewable energy is quite simple to develop and operate. However, with high sensitivity of this technology to the speed of tidal stream, determining the right location of the installation will greatly effect the electricity output.“

    Muljadi Tantra

CFO and Deputy Managing Director of Green Forest Product and Technology

  • "Tidal in stream is one of the most proven among marine renewable energy technologies for Southeast Asia. This is a renewable energy solution to reduce electricity price and fuel subsidy in small remote islands currently relying solely on diesel power generation.“

    Engr. Roger Chua
